Our story

the soul collective.
We're Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso U.F.O., a Japanese psychedelic rock band founded in 1995 by guitarist Kawabata Makoto, who set out to make "extreme trip music". We grew into a soul collective with sister bands like the Cosmic Inferno and SWR. Today Kawabata leads us with Higashi Hiroshi, Jyonson Tsu, Satoshima Nani and Sawano Shozo.
Every design here comes from our world: the eye logo, the full band name in hand-drawn letters, the teapot cat, the katakana face and the Levitation Sessions art. They come on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes for the youngest listeners.
